媒體報導，考試院前院長關中將為國民黨總統參選人洪秀柱操盤2016年總統大選。關中今天(20日)表示，他不會擔任什麼職務，只會私下以黨員的身分，全力支持洪秀柱及國民黨；他並建議洪秀柱要一本初衷、勇往直前。

媒體報導指國民黨總統參選人洪秀柱請出昔日老長官、考試院前院長關中，為她操盤2016年總統大選，關中並已號召子弟兵，從組織、策略到文宣，全面為洪秀柱輔選。

對此，關中20日出席國民黨中評會後受訪時表示，他不可能出面擔任職務，擔任何種職務一點也不重要，他會以黨員的身分全力支持國民黨及黨的總統參選人。他說：『(原音)不可能出面擔任什麼職務，因為是黨員，全力支持我們的黨，全力支持我們的總統候選人，這是天經地義的事情，擔不擔任什麼職務一點都不重要，而且我也沒有這種身分來擔任這種職務，只是盡一個黨員應盡的義務。』

關中也說，他沒有什麼子弟兵，都是國民黨的老同事、老夥伴。
